Can I just, for Mid-July, this is a pretty exciting week. First a showdown with the new and improved Bucos, and then, the Nation comes to town. Great Drama. Essentially A's fans, the final games pre all star break will feature the teams with the best records in the American League. Good times, good times! However, before they get return home, there will two more playoff type intensity games in Pittsburgh. Poetic Justice would clearly rule the day, if the A's entered the break with the best record in all the bigs.
*Coco's catch last night in the gap, all stick shift baby, that was clutch.
*Just another ho hum save for Balfour. I think he walks off the distance in all of the parks, because he sure know hot to serve 'em up warning track style. Last night again, a possible late inning homer dies on the warning track. Maybe he has magical powers, ooh.
*Now that the A's have brought up Grant Green, are there more moves in the hopper? Another athletic shortstop perhaps?
*Hey Gigos, man last night was torture. How about this trade--Scutaro for Jemile Weeks. A's get a hitter, Giants would get an NL type of player, athletic with gap power. Just an idea, but I still feel the A's should give the black bearded one Brian Wilson a looksie. Can you imagine next season, the Bay Bridge Series, Wilson pitching to Panda and Posey, I am trying to tell you! Maybe the Giants should "Pay it Forward" and negotiate a deal for the A's to move to San Jose.
