This morning it is very simple: it's all on the Big Fella, Bartolo The Hut Colon. Bart has been great for his club the last year and half, and this afternoon's game in Cincinnati pretty important. The A's are in serious funk, and the Rangers are hot! With an off today tomorrow, the A's could possibly enjoy the win, and ideally start turning things around in Toronto. Who knows perhaps the Angels can won game against the Rangers. Manager BoMel (Bob Melvin) has juggled the lineup for today's game trying to jump start the offense. Seth Smith is batting second an Albert Callapso gets the start at second. The A's have only scored 10 runs in the last 6 games, while losing 5 of their last 6. Ouch. Even before the Break, the A's were struggling to score. The major difference then, as that Josh Donaldson was carrying the club. Donaldson has not homered since the break, is batting .186, and has no RBI's. Yikes!
*Still no word on John Jaso. His bat would clearly help this lineup. Michael Choice was not in the lineup last night in Sacramento, so is he on the move? He was not on the scorecard this morning in Cincinnati yet either however.
